My Current CPD

Whether it’s keeping up to date with healthcare guidelines or researching sustainability in fashion, I invest time in my own learning, to ultimately deliver an impeccable product to my clients. To achieve this high level of detail, I pursue a robust course of continuing professional development that helps me stay sharp in all my specialisms.

At the moment, I am taking a course called “Writing for the Sciences”. It has been a refreshing review of many skills I have developed throughout my career but I have appreciated a few new insights as well. Learning should never stop.

A Passion For Languages

My name is Pasquale Di Matteo and I am a qualified, professional translator with over 30 years’ experience in language services. I love words and my passion for languages drives my desire to produce solid and effective translations. I cannot imagine working in any another field.

I owe my success to my sense of curiosity and my high aptitude for research. I dive deep into the new developments occurring in my areas of expertise, from wellness tourism to 3D bioprinting. My clients can be reassured that every medical term I have included in a translation has been chosen through careful research; every comma in a marketing text has been placed in a position for a good reason.

Born Italian-American, I lived in the United Kingdom for many years and am skilled in delivering translations in both British English and American English. Your audience wants to feel comfortable reading in its variant of English without the distraction of expressions that seem less natural.

I now serve my clients in the US, UK, Italy and Spain from the vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam where I currently reside and work as I continue to challenge myself with learning a new language and delving into a different culture.

I believe in forging a translator-client relationship based on mutual understanding. As a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, I share its commitment to this professionalism and abide by its Code of Conduct. That means you can rely on Quality in Translation:
I'm as good as my word.
