What I do NOT provide

I do not translate from English into Italian. I work in the direction of Italian into my mother tongue English to guarantee maximum readability.

I do not translate highly technical or legal texts nor extremely specialised texts that are outside my fields of expertise.
A Word about Technology
Like many other professional translators, I use some technology, such as a translation memory, to ensure accuracy and consistency in terminology.
However, this must not be confused with a machine translation. A translation memory may suggest a solution I have used in the past, but I approve, reject or modify suggestions as necessary. I never use machine translation, which is a tool like Google Translate.
Although technology has improved, it can never substitute a human’s sensitivity to language, culture and target readers.
